Baku, Finance Time. The leading mobile operator of Azerbaijan has been supporting numerous scientific and educational projects for youth through implementation of a range of successful initiatives in this field since the day of its launch. Some of the remarkable projects, among others, are 3G and 4G laboratories and e-education centers in the leading universities of Azerbaijan, as well as a broad number of successful programs realized by Barama Innovation Center and, of course, different internship and bursary opportunities for students. As of July, 1 the Company launched another round of its Student Bursary Program. The aim of the Program is to encourage successful students and young talents with outstanding academic achievements and support the professional growth of the students with high potential. The students successfully passing all the stages will be offered a monthly stipend throughout the remaining period of their university studies, as well as a chance to enrich their knowledge about telecommunications, participate in Azercell’s corporate events and social activities, receive various trainings, as well as join an internship at Azercell.

The students of the third and fourth year of study are eligible to apply for the Student Bursary Program of Azercell. The results of the selection process and scores of the applicants will be sent to their email addresses. Students of marketing or information-communication technologies fields are given an advantage in the selection process. Those willing to compete for Azercell's Scholarship should fill in a form on the web-site of Azercell in the section “Career” and sub-section “Student Program” (http://www.azercell.com/az/company/career/development_oportunities/). Only online applications should be submitted until July 31, 2014.

This program, held annually since 2008, generated a strong interest and attention of Azerbaijani students. Over these years more than 50 students of different universities of Azerbaijan were selected to benefit from the program and were awarded with the title Azercell Bursary Winner. Along with the monthly scholarship from Azercell, these students also gained a remarkable experience for own careers with the help of the Company's leading specialists.
