On July 9-11, Baku will host a training on “MFI Management Simulation Game“ significantly subsidized by the German government (80%) in collaboration with Savings Bank for International Cooperation (SBFIC) designed to improve the capacity of Microfinance Institutions in the country, and to strengthen the sector as a whole.
Participants take over the management of an MFI and lead it through different challenges – they have to establish the MFI, they reach out for underserved regions and clients, they have to tackle several risks in order to finally establish themselves in the market.
The training will be based on a newly developed fully computerized state of the art simulation game. Several competing groups of participants create a realistic competitive environment. Participants organize themselves in teams. Several rounds allow to develop and test own strategies. Intensive follow-up and input of a highly qualified trainer provide benefits beyond the immediate game situation.
Note that, 20 persons will participate in the training, Participation fee per man is AZN 150.
