Birbank, the country’s first digital bank, continues to expand access to financing for entrepreneurs. Representatives of small and medium sized businesses can now apply for a Micro Business Loan through either the Birbank mobile app or the Birbank Biznes app. 

This gives entrepreneurs who need additional funds for their businesses the flexibility to choose the app that is most convenient for them and complete the entire loan application process online. All stages of the loan application process are carried out digitally. A Micro Business Loan of up to AZN 50 000 can be obtained entirely online. There is no need to visit a bank or branch, provide a guarantor or collateral, or submit any documents when applying.

The application is assessed without an on site business inspection, based on the bank’s existing lending policy and risk assessment. Loan documents are signed electronically within the app. Once the application is approved, the loan amount is transferred to the entrepreneur’s account. To apply for a Micro Business Loan, entrepreneurs only need to have a Tax Identification Number or an AZN business account with Kapital Bank. Entrepreneurs who do not yet have an account can easily open one through the Birbank Biznes app.
