Kapital Bank, the country’s first bank, organized an educational session titled “Smart Money Talks” as part of Global Money Week, aimed at enhancing financial literacy among school students.

Global Money Week, held annually in many countries worldwide, is an international initiative designed to promote financial literacy among children and youth. The initiative encourages young people to develop knowledge and skills related to money management, financial decision-making, and personal financial security from an early age.

Through the “Smart Money Talks” session, Kapital Bank contributed to building foundational financial knowledge for school students. Participants were introduced to basic financial concepts and learned key principles of personal budget management. The session also provided guidance on saving, financial planning, and making informed financial decisions. Additionally, students received important information about common financial risks and fraud prevention in daily life.

The event, supported in partnership with the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was attended by students from grades 5–8 of secondary schools No. 34, 35, 36, 164, and school-lyceum No. 246 in Baku. A total of 50 students participated in the interactive session.

Kapital Bank plans to continue its initiatives aimed at increasing financial literacy among the younger generation.
