In one of the largest clinical departments of the Central Customs Hospital — the Cardiology Department — our residents have the opportunity to master modern invasive techniques for treating the most complex cardiovascular diseases, gaining valuable experience and improving their knowledge and skills year after year.

They work tirelessly, day and night, to restore the health of patients suffering from severe coronary artery disease, heart failure, aortic and aortic valve disorders, as well as various complex cardiac pathologies.

The cardiology residents work as part of a multidisciplinary team in collaboration with specialists from cardiac surgery, intensive care, nephrology, and other departments of our hospital.

Under the leadership and comprehensive support of the Chief of the Central Customs Hospital — Chief Physician, Doctor of Medical Sciences Dr. Bakhtiyar Musayev, Deputy Chief, PhD in Medicine Dr. Nabil Seyidov, Head of the Invasive Cardiology Department Dr. Ilgar Tahiroglu, along with Dr. Samir Mustafayev, Dr. Emin Hajibalayev, Dr. Emin Allahverdiyev, Dr. Gunay Hatamova, Dr. Sevinc Mammadova, Dr. Shahla Agayeva, Dr.Leman Eyvazli and Dr. Nigar Rahmatova — our residents enrich their experience and shape themselves as highly qualified doctors of the future.
