On August 8, 2025, under the organization of the Scientific-Practical and Training Center of the Medical Service Department of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, an extended seminar on “Cystic Lesions of the Pancreas: Treatment Algorithms” took place at the Central Customs Hospital.

The Head of the General Surgery Department of the Central Customs Hospital, highly qualified general surgeon and Candidate of Medical Sciences, Dr. Namig Novruzov delivered a presentation at the seminar,  in which he provided detailed information to participants about various types of cystic lesions of the pancreas, modern approaches to their diagnosis and treatment, surgical and conservative methods, as well as patient monitoring and prevention of possible complications in the postoperative period.

At the end of the seminar, numerous questions from resident doctors were answered, opinions were exchanged, and opportunities for future research collaboration were discussed. It was noted that the regular holding of such events contributes to enhancing the knowledge and skills of professional physicians, as well as improving the quality of medical care for patients.
